Mocambo Backpackers is ideally located close to the “Baie des Citrons” to go for nice walks, cycling, rollerskating and enjoy many activities: windsurfing, island visits, kitesurfing, scuba-diving, UNESCO lagoon aquarium visits etc.

2min walk to the “Port Plaisance” mall (shops, pharmacy, supermarket, banks, petrol station, car rental, real estate etc.).

Mocambo Backpackers is also at close proximity of many restaurants, ice cream shops, chocolatiers, pubs, night clubs (including Mocambo Backpackers’ adjoining night club “Royal Tahiti” from which you can enjoy an Oceanian atmosphere).

With a bus stop in front of Mocambo Backpackers, enjoy an approx. 15min bus ride to the city centre (approx. 10min with a taxi).

Practical information:

  • Reception opening hours: 6am to midnight
  • Night watchman present from midnight to 6am.
  • TV in individual rooms (6 channels).
  • Air conditioning inverter in all rooms.
  • Calls can be made from the reception. A direct line to your room is also available with a 3,000 CFP Franc bond.
  • Free WIFI access for customers only in the lobby.
  • Limited unsecured carpark is available in front of the building.

Opening hours:

  • Kitchen: 6am to 10am and 11am to 10pm.
  • Gym/Entertainment rooms (TV, Games): 10am to 10pm
  • “Royal Tahiti” Night club: 10pm to 4am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

For longer stays

(planned or not), cleaning services and linen replacement will be mandatory and payable after the 6th night (prices are available from the reception).

No payments in Euros are accepted.

In the shared rooms, children are not allowed even when accompanied by an adult. Exception for sports groups, school trips and associations.
